This is why you can only expect relatively short battery runtimes from the device. Nevertheless, this functionality is quite versatile in that if you need mobility you can remove the additional battery and if you need a strong battery life you can put the external battery back in. We really appreciate the ability to put in and take out the battery whenever we need to.
